An Important Announcement from our Technology Team

On May 31, 2020, Titan will be migrating its VPN and Network Infrastructure services from Rackspace to Amazon Web Services (AWS). To ensure that you do not have any service interruptions, please take the steps below and contact a Titan team member using the form below with any questions you may have.

Why this change?

This is part of an ongoing effort to improve our technology infrastructure and will help us support our customers with the efficiency you need to achieve your goals. 

Here are some other reasons for the change:

  • Improved security, scalability, and reliability with AWS
  • We’ll be able to offer increased service levels for mission-critical data such as inventory readings and alarms
  • We are committed to providing best-in-class software to our customers

What are the next steps?

In order to continue using our software without interruptions, all clients will need to do the following prior to May 31, 2020:  

  • Complete VPN worksheet for your company
  • Whitelist Titan’s source IP addresses 
  • Set up a new VPN

What else should I know?

  • AWS provides the ability to auto-generate configuration scripts for the top 25 customer hardware firewalls and routers
  • Offers complete partitioning of each customer’s network at the infrastructure level (virtual private cloud/VPC), which assures total isolation and safety of customer data
  • Provides capabilities for dual gateways with two tunnels each (for a total of four encrypted tunnels), using BGP for automatic fail-over and high availability
  • Supports the strongest available VPN protocols, ciphers, Transport Layer protocols, and TLS handshakes
  • Offers flexible network addressing and routing that accommodates all client network architectures and addressing plans
  • The new VPN infrastructure provides ‘non-stop’ availability for a superior level of service
